This hammock is amazing i have had it for 3 weeks so far and let me tell you its the best hammock i hava had in a long time. I am 320 pound and it holds up Preety good! I usually park next to a tree and i conec5 one end to my car anf the other to a tree!
Set it up anywhere you can take it!
Let me begin by saying that my $17 OuterEQ hammock is EXACTLY the same as my roommate’s $80 Eno. Exactly!
Worth its weight in Fabric
I was gonna try to make my own nylon hammock like this- holy expensive fabric. I bought this- switched out the rope and hanging hardware and boom! super good quality hammock for less than half the REI brand.
This is by far my FAVORITE camping accessory.
This is by far my FAVORITE camping accessory!! I was worried that it wouldn’t be great quality, but boy was I wrong!! It was wonderful. It held my husband great who is around 240lbs. My husband also has pretty broad shoulders and it was still wide enough to cup him while he slept (see picture). The colors are vibrant, it’s lightweight, and easy to hang. I will, however, be purchasing the Eno suspension system, because the ropes tended to stretch a little over time, but in my experience that happens with most ropes. Bottom line, I highly recommend it, it is great quality and incredibly comfortable! This is one purchase I guarantee you won’t regret!!
Update: Holding up great and would buy again. Great product!
Great way to see if a hammock is for you. Price is good and allows you to see if you want to invest in a higher quality hammock in the future. I have used this 3 times on two day trips each and had no issues with it at all. I will say that if the temp drops down to low you will feel it on the underside and may need to either use a mylar blanket (like I did) or build a better overhead tarp/structure to trap the heat in. I went out with 6 guys and I was the only one with a hammock, I had my sleeping quarters set up within 30 min. and they were still messing around with tents and make shelters. I live in Texas so this will be great as I have netting to cover me from the killer insects in this area plus off the ground to keep away from the snakes! I am 250 lbs and the first time I set it up I did not pull it tight enough and it hyper extended my knees but the next time I set it up right and worked out great. Would suggest anyone in the market to test out a hammock to purchase this one and give it a try. Very light and great for backpacking as we did (8-10 mile round trip through the woods.
Nearly an Eno quality hammock, totally worth the money. Especially if you buy straps
I ordered this hammock on Wednesday and it got to me on Saturday so I happily got to use it that weekend. Having read the reviews of dozens of other hammocks and spending a lot of time in my friends Enos (I’m from Asheville, NC where they are more than abundant) I decided to take a leap of faith on this one. I read the straps were less than desirable so I went ahead and ordered these daisy chain straps (SOLITUDE Hammock Tree Straps System. Heavy Duty Extra Long Lightweight Suspension Kit. Adjustable.) for $15.
Cannot recommend this enough, do NOT pay more for an identical product!
I cannot say enough about this hammock! You get exactly what you get from those expensive models (the ones where people are paying for the brand name because they’re a hot item right now), but without the sticker shock. It comes ready to hang the moment you open the bag and utilizes two convenient carabineers to attach the hooks to the included ropes. Be aware that the included ropes do NOT have any kind of D-ring or attachment point other than your own awesome knot-tying skills. If that isn’t secure enough for you, you will want to purchase after-market straps.
The hammock is great but the line streaches bad
I have slept in this hammock three times. The hammock is great but the line streaches bad. I am 260 lbs. And it holds my fat @ss up.
WARNING ******** Good BUT…….buy some paracord !!!
Great hammock but the rope they give for attaching it to a tree is garbage. Two hammocks BOTH broke and one person got hurt.
