works for blemishes and cleaning
I am not sure if it will create any more spin or actually sharpen the grooves. I did use it on all my clubs to smooth some rough grooves, and scars, and lips on the club faces. It worked quickly and very well. I squirted a little oil on each club face and ran it across each groove several times. When I wiped a rag across the faces, I could see some metal filings from the work it did. Definitely took out all the blemishes and cleaned the grooves.
I had a few wedges that had some deformed grooves from heavy play. This worked like a charm to straighten them out. I then went and cleaned up the rest of my irons for good measure. The head on the sharpener seems to stay sharp after doing all of my clubs. The best part is the multi head can work on many sizes and depths of grooves.

Work like stated
Repairing my wedges grooves, work as stated. Used several times and still Sharp.
These work well cleaning the groves in golf clubs. My son uses his all the time.
Great golf tool
Works great! I used it to freshen grooves in my +40 year old Hogan sand wedge and my lob wedge. Easy to use, does a nice job with groove cleaning & refurbishing. It does take some elbow grease, so set aside 2-3 irons per session. Or, you can find a rainy day and get them all re-grooved. A nice, “value” product.
Great value… great tool
I have a sixty degree wedge I love using. The grooves were getting worn and I thought this tool might prevent me from getting a new wedge. It brought the grooves back. It is well worth the small amount you pay to save a good club.
