"I like this way more than my other sharpener. I've got big hands and my old sharpener just made my hands tight throughout the day. This new one has a big handle and I can keep my clubs ready to go through 18 holes without feeling tight. Its also easy to fit back into its storage tube so you don't damage your bag. A+++"

"Great product. I was surprised and how well it cuts the grooves back in. Would recommend to anyone wishing to put an edge back on their irons."

"Easy to use. Ball stops on a dime again. Have to take an extra club to adjust for no rollout."

Sticking it!

 on August 28, 2015
well it sure works. I was wondering why my friend was able to put the brakes on when he hit the green and I always rolled too far.

WOW. Was pretty skeptical, but it really works.

After hitting thousands of balls with my two Bob Vokey SM4 wedges while golfing and practicing, the club face accumulated the usual pits, dings, and rounded off grooves from wear and tear. I was considering purchasing new wedges, but decided to try this tool to see if it would make a difference so that I could keep my existing wedges that I like so much.

Make an old club brand new again!!!

I have only used it on my Tour Edge pitching and sand wedges that are about 10 years old and all I can say is that these clubs are like they’re brand spanking new again!! I mean the control I have again is amazing!!! I honestly just thought my short game just sucked and low and behold it was my clubs!! Everyone says that it’s the club and the vast majority of the time it isn’t the club that sucks!! I would highly recommend this product for any club that is over 50 rounds old!!!

Adjustable golf club Groove cleaning and sharpening tool

It took me a while to learn how to use the Groove sharpening tool but once I studied all of the “U” and “V” groove forms and learned to use the tool, it became a permanent tool in my set of tools for maintaining my golf clubs. It is easy to learn how to use and provides very good results with the spin on the ball flights. It takes around 5 to 10 minutes to clean and sharpen the grooves on any iron. It is REALLY worth the effort. I suggest re-cleaning and sharpening the grooves every 25 rounds of golf.

When you tune up your clubs, take this tool and use it to, "Get your Groove back"!

Good little tool for cleaning up the grooves on your irons. Once every year or two you should do a re-grip job on your clubs and while you’re at it…clean those e grooves. Its called a tune up. It improves your game play. Clubs are like tools and need some care so don’t forget to clean up those grooves. I will tell you that I was glad I did, it took little extra time and made a difference in my Iron Play.

Works great.

I couldn’t tell if my club was V or U groove. I used the smallest V groove blade and it seemed to work ok. The groove got shiny. It worked best if I held it at an angle and pulled it toward me. Be sure and clean the club first then a little oil. I did my lob wedge first then used my thumb to compare it to my SW. Big difference! Will be doing the rest of my clubs. I like that the blade retracts and it all fits in a plastic container.

Fixing your worn and battered grooves takes effort if you haven’t done it in a while. Get a good tool like this to get the job done.

Comfortable and Effective: Results = Your Effort

This product works as advertised, as long as you’re willing to put in the work. The best thing is the handle–i can see how other sharpeners would be fatiguing with a small handle, due to the force required to file the grooves. It is somewhat difficult, however, to figure out exactly what type of grooves you have if your club predates the rules change in 2010–so i worked my way up from the smallest of the heads until i could see results. The seller is very diligent and attentive and i would recommend this to anyone who understands that you get out of it what you put into it.

Better tool than player

I have played golf for about 26 years now. To be honest I have not noticed any radical change in the stopping power of my wedges once sharpener and cleaned. I suppose I don’t have the necessary swing characteristics to make a ball dance on a dime. The instructions are good, the tool itself seemed to do what it says it can do.

I have used it on a couple of my wedges and it cleaned them up very nice and not really labor intensive

I bought this because it seemed to be the easiest to use because of the large handle. I have used it on a couple of my wedges and it cleaned them up very nice and not really labor intensive. Put a nice edge on grooves that were rolled over from use with no apparent harm to the club if you use it carefully. You can see the difference immediately. It is cheaper than new clubs and as far as being USGA approved?……..I am not a touring pro and none of the guys I golf with ever checked each others clubs with a feeler gauge.
