Perfect for my boat

By SC
I have a 17 foot speed boat and purchased two of the blue, 15 foot, 3/8-inch dockline. This line is very soft and looks fantastic. The loop in the line is very convenient and sturdy. I thought it would be helpful for customers if I posted the sizing chart that is on the back of the product box:

Great rope

By DJ Swin
This is a high quality product but make sure that you don’t make the same mistake that I did and order more length than you need. I know you can always cut off what you don’t need but that leaves a frayed end.

Seasense double nylon

By Amazon Customer
Nylon is a must for strength, seasense has nice color, excellent braid, perfect for a 21 foot run about, for larger boats go with 1/2 inch dock line

Nice Rope

By Digitally Impaired
Lost a white 15 footer somewhere in Lake Michigan so needed a replacement. Ordered 2 black 20 footers to match the hull color of the boat. The extra 5 feet makes it much easier for the wife to hold both lines while I’m backing the boat down the loading ramp and she can get up on the dock while throwing the rope over any stantions. Nice smooth feel and extra thickness make it vey easy to handle and whip to dock cleats.

Holy Smokes these are awesome.

By Amazon Customer
After coming back from that place out West where I had seen these for a lubeless bent over hard inducing price(no courtesy reach around included). I learned that Amazon could do much better. And was I right by over 70 percent. These dont hurt near as bad and they hold my boat tight up against my dock. Since I got the blue ones they even look kinda cool on my 45 foot sail boat. So stay with Amazon and get more line for your money (almost 3 times as much). You will not be disappointed.

Great Price for Good Quality

By 5225db
Looking at various dockline manufacturers and offerings online can be mind boggling. Price variations from $26 to $90+ for 25′ length, pre-spliced, braided, 5/8″ black line. Which one to choose? If price was no object, I’d probably buy the Samson. Price is a consideration — but I didn’t want junk. First off I wanted to stick with Nylon, rather than polyester/dacron — which are more inferior.

Very durable dockline, color doesn’t fade

By John G.
I bought this dockline to replace my old dockline, which had begun fraying and was discolored. After nearly 2 full seasons of keeping my boat docked in brackish saltwater on the Hudson River, this rope is still like new. The color has barely faded and the texture is still intact, despite being exposed to direct sunlight, rough water conditions with lots of jerking on the rope, and the mixed saltwater. This is a very durable dockline.

25′ is really 25′ with this product

By Gizmoman
I noticed that some dock lines are actually shorter than advertised. This is a full 25′ end to end (Including loop splice). Seems very pliable, but we shall see after a year of use. I got the 1/2″ but probably could have used 3/8″ for my Sig240 cruiser.

Good value but chafes very easily

By B. Christensen
You can’t beat the price of this line when compared to buying from your local boating store. However my experience after a few months is that this line is NOT chafe-resistant at all. I’ve been using it to tie my 23′ Parker to its slip, replacing some lines I had for 5+ years that were not showing signs of wear. Within two months, these new lines are badly chafed and I don’t expect them to last more than a full season before they part.

a great product and delivery.
