25′ is really 25′ with this product
I noticed that some dock lines are actually shorter than advertised. This is a full 25′ end to end (Including loop splice). Seems very pliable, but we shall see after a year of use. I got the 1/2″ but probably could have used 3/8″ for my Sig240 cruiser.
Perfect for my boat
I have a 17 foot speed boat and purchased two of the blue, 15 foot, 3/8-inch dockline. This line is very soft and looks fantastic. The loop in the line is very convenient and sturdy. I thought it would be helpful for customers if I posted the sizing chart that is on the back of the product box:
I have been boating all my life, from Florida to California, and even to the Abaco Islands. This is simply the best dockline you can buy. Besides being well made, the gold/white is also beautiful. I use the 5/8″ x 20′ because it fits nicely in the boat cleats, and yet has the strength to pull a 50′ boat. By pulling the loop through the center of the cleat, and then running the line back through the loop, it makes a secure fit that won’t come loose during use. The flexibility is great for handling and coiling. Nice to see a great product that works like it’s supposed to.
a great product and delivery.
Good quality dockline. The loop is seriously strong and properly inter-twine braided. The fit and finish of the outer layer was perfect with no cuts or improper weaving. I am very pleased with my purchase.
Very durable dockline, color doesn’t fade
I bought this dockline to replace my old dockline, which had begun fraying and was discolored. After nearly 2 full seasons of keeping my boat docked in brackish saltwater on the Hudson River, this rope is still like new. The color has barely faded and the texture is still intact, despite being exposed to direct sunlight, rough water conditions with lots of jerking on the rope, and the mixed saltwater. This is a very durable dockline.
If you fish by yourself you need this or something like it
2,000 lb boat bass boat and launching by yourself this is what you need. the length allows you to float it off easily then put your Talon down to hold it in place and tie the other end to the dock. Problem solved. Tied a H/D clip onto one end and the other braided end will slip over the mirror on your vehicle or around your winch your preference.
