A great adjustable length boat hook.

Yeah you can buy similar poles at 2x-4x the price of this very useful hook. But why bother? Another reviewer suggested that if you feel the screwed in hook wasn’t heavy duty enough you can easily drill one or two small holes and set appropriately sized scores in to permantely attach the hook to the shaft. I didn’t and I can say that so far there are no issues abut th sturdiness of the hook part. This is after going in and out of a very turbulent canal lock in our area of Cape Coral. Oh and as an added benefit, if you just unscrew the hook the pole can be used as a handle to spread paint or sealer on the driveway. The treads are interchangeable with painting attachments like rollers

Purchased this to use on a pontoon boat since its not close to the water my body doesn’t bend like it use to. it handy for all kinds of things. its light and easily adjustable. Used mine to push off of boats, docks, rocks, etc. Its hand to fetch buoys, jug lines, trotlines, the girlfriend when she starts floating away, and to relocate snakes that may have found a resting place in your battery compartment.

Telescoping Boat Hook

This hook works great not only for grabbing the dock cleats but for grabbing items that have fallen overboard. We lost a floatie toy and were able to retrive it with the hook. THis also works great in tight areas while docking to avoid slipping or falling while docking.

Hooked on boats!

I recently bought a “new to me” sailboat, and wanted a boat hook for generall duty on the boat. Seems something is always blowing over the side that needs to be retrieved, and a telescoping boat hook is a great tool for the job. I was depressed by the cost of a similar one in a local marine store, and so was delighted to find this one. Looks better than the one in the store, and about $10 cheaper! And did I mention that it arrived in only 2 days!!

Makes life so much easier!

We use this every time we go boating! My husband and I just bought our first boat, so we’re really new to docking and pretty much everything with a boat! This pole makes it a million times easier to get the rope on the hook at the dock, both when we are bringing the boat in the water, and when we are pulling the boat up to get ready to leave! Makes my life so much better!
