A high, asymmetric curvature creates an ideal shape and fit for climbing and bouldering.
Best shoe ever
These are the best climbing shoe I have owned. This is my second pair, and they hold up great. They don’t stretch a lot so the fit is consistent over the life of the shoe. They edge great and work fantastic on steep and overhung walls. Be warned though if you have a wide foot this might not be the shoe for you, I have a long and narrow foot so the Mago fits great, I wear a 10 1/2-11 in running shoes, and I buy these in a 42.5, I could go down to a 42 for a tighter more bouldering style fit, but by no means is the 42.5 too big. I would recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a technical climbing shoe.
This fits slightly smaller than the Scarpa Stix.
5 would be perfect unfortunately, not that im complaining
I was surprised that the size 36.5 fits my feet however i can go half a size smaller with the knowledge that i have to break it for days. I based my sizing to boostic wherein i bought the wrong size 37.5. I was expecting 36.5 would be perfect unfortunately, not that im complaining, i can still go half a size smaller. But the performance of this shoes is great!
Steep Climbing Champs
I love the Mago for super-steep sport climbing — they feel like climbing paws on my feet, enabling me to heel hook and toe in like no other shoe. They’re very sensitive, too, which helps me “find” holds when I can’t actually see them. Pretty awesome!
